Vesele Vanoce!! Merry Christmas!! Things have been great since I’ve been home. I’ve been seeing my friends and family—i went ice skating with Morse, saw The Princess and the Frog with Derek, celebrated Christmas Eve with the Rizzos and the Loretzs, and got two new cats. You heard me, not one, but two. Well, one is mine and the other is my parents. They’re...

it’s 10 am in prague right now, but i’m not there anymore, so i guess it’s only 4. What can I say? Perhaps I should have written a good bye entry while I was still in my cozy little bed in Slezska. Perhaps I should have written more, period. Well I guess now I’m in New York and have to try to sum up these last four months. All that I can find is that it’s impossible....

Characters dressed as Angels, Devils, and St. Nicholas roam around and make sure children have been good for the year. If the children were good, they sing a song or recite a poem and receive candy or presents. The bad children are taken to hell...
cheers!
The last week has been a whirlwind as my time here is quickly coming to an end. Thursday, as we all know, was thanksgiving, and although I have already written two posts about that lovely holiday, it seems like three, as usual, will be the charm. Unlike in the states, things don’t slow down for the holiday. Despite the cheer (or homesickness) visible on each NYU student’s face, we...
